We’re delighted to share that Aberdeen City Ladies Football Club has been shortlisted in the Scottish Power Scottish Women’s Football Awards for Scottish Power Sustainable Club of the Year

Being shortlisted alongside three other clubs is a fantastic achievement and reflects the commitment, hard work and passion that goes into making our club a positive, welcoming and sustainable environment for women’s and girls’ football.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to recognise three of our dedicated volunteers whose contributions were put forward for consideration in this year’s awards:

Nicola Ewen – Club Secretary & Kit/Equipment
Kim Bruce – Chairperson & Club Welfare and Protection Officer (CWPO)
Neil Adam – Head Club Coach for Competitive Teams, U18 Reds Coach and Interim Ladies Team Coach

At ACLFC, we are fortunate to have so many people who give their time, energy and passion to help our players, from our Under 8’s through to our Ladies Team, enjoy football in a fun, safe, friendly and nurturing environment.

To all our volunteers – thank you! Whether you coach, manage, organise, support, fundraise, wash kit, transport players or help behind the scenes, every contribution matters. We simply couldn’t provide the opportunities we do for our players without you.

Please keep your fingers crossed for us as we look forward to the awards!
