The Scottish FA Board have held discussions regarding the current suspension of training and matches in Scotland in light of the Scottish Government announcement yesterday, which detailed an easing of some restrictions for sport.

The Board is pleased to announce a partial lifting of training restrictions from Monday, 13 July onwards as follows:

Children and Youth football (aged 5 – 17)

For children and young people aged from 5-17, sessions for up to 10 players and two coaches are allowed. Player to player contact is permitted within those training sessions, however coaches must remain physically distanced from players at all times.

Clubs are required to keep attendance records for each session to assist with tracing protocols.

For the avoidance of doubt there has been no change to the suspension of matches, including friendly matches.
